School & Parents

Sat Paul Mittal School believes that relationship with parents is crucial to the child's growth and development. Great emphasis is laid on good communication and understanding between home and school. This is done in a number of ways:

  • Parent orientation at the start of every academic year
  • Regular walk-ins and term wise ‘Open Days’ when parents are invited to view their child’s work and discuss her/his progress
  • Special assemblies where parents are welcome to see their little ones perform.
  • There is regular communication through detailed circulars and children's diaries.
  • ‘The Satyan Mirror’ is the biannual newsletter which sums up the activities of each term.
PARENT SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (PSA)

Sat Paul Mittal School has an involved and energetic Parent School Association (PSA), registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 vide Regn No. 741 of 2006-07 dated 29 th March 2007 , which supports and makes an outstanding contribution to the development of the school. It provides help, raises funds and enriches the school life with its social events. The PSA newsletter, "Darpan", is a forum for discussion and reflection that is published every term. The first General Body Meeting of the Parent School Association was held on 15 th September 2007 wherein the parents brought forward points of concern about their wards and the functioning of the school.

Parents’ Speak

“Sat Paul Mittal School, a school which for a change has not yielded to the temptation of chaotic commercialization of education. Sticking to the basic principles of education with the right flavour of co-curricular, sports and cultural activities, SPMittal has blossomed at the right time for parents who have always taken a very serious note of their children’s future.”
Neeru and Akash Bansal (parents of Arman, Class II B)

“Studying at SPM School has been a learning experience for Angat as well as me. The concept of the school is different from rest of the schools in the city. The staff of the school is very polite and cooperative.”
Gurpreet Sagar (parent of Angat, Class III A)

“The real difference between SPM School and other schools is the fact that there are only 25 children per class and this helps in adding to the overall personality and confidence of the child.”
Amit Jain (parent of Ashwin, Class III B)

SPM School provides a healthy and a friendly environment for students and teachers. It is an institution where children get a chance to learn by Touch-Feel-Experience, hence making the process of learning easier and more interesting.”
Sonia Sital (parent of Maulik, Class VII A)

In my opinion SPM School has given a new direction to the education system in Ludhiana. It provides an environment that encourages a questioning mind and gives students many avenues for expressing their creativity and building their skills.”
Bindiya Chaudhry (parent of Tejasvi, Class VII A)

My children have benifitted from the school in the last few months. I see a change in their social behaviour and communication skills. They have become outgoing and I see them gearing towards self confidence.”

Ruhi Brar(parent of Jaisal Brar Class VII A and Sumair Brar Class IV A)
